Living at Nashley House
Nashley House in Weston super Mare offers a warm, welcoming home for older people who require residential care and support. The home became part of the Eqvitus Group in October 2024 and shares the group’s philosophy of providing a “home that cares”, where every individual is valued, respected and supported to live a dignified and fulfilling life. This approach reflects the Eqvitus CARER values of Caring, Accountability, Responsive teamwork, Excellence and Respect, which guide how residents are supported and how staff work together each day.
Life at Nashley House is centred around creating a comfortable, homely environment where residents feel relaxed and truly at home. Residents enjoy pleasant bedrooms and welcoming communal spaces where they can socialise, enjoy activities or spend time with family and friends. The lounges and dining areas form the heart of the home, encouraging companionship and conversation, while the gardens offer a peaceful setting to enjoy fresh air or a quiet moment in nature.
Everything we do is driven by the needs, abilities and aspirations of our residents. The team takes time to get to know each resident personally, understanding their life stories, interests and daily routines so that care and support can be tailored to them as individuals. Through meaningful activities, genuine relationships and personalised care planning, residents are supported to remain active, engaged and connected with the people and things that matter most to them.
Nashley House is supported by a dedicated and professional care team who are committed to delivering compassionate and sensitive care. Staff come from a wide range of backgrounds and hold qualifications ranging from the Care Certificate to Level 5 in Health and Social Care, supported by ongoing training and professional development. This ensures residents receive high quality care from a skilled and confident team. The home also works closely with families, healthcare professionals and local services to ensure each resident receives the most appropriate care and support. By working in partnership with residents, loved ones and medical teams, care plans are regularly reviewed and adapted so that every individual continues to receive the personalised support they need to live comfortably and confidently at Nashley House.
